Meredith Collins

With vast experience in the corporate world, adult education and training, Meredith is well placed to support businesses to position themselves in and utilise the social mediums as part of their marketing plan for business profits.

An entertaining speaker and presenter, she helps executives, their staff and business owners unravel and unlock the power of Social Media.  If you’ve heard of Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube, but aren’t really clear on what it’s all about and how your business could benefit from it, you are not alone. Meredith recognises that social media can be confusing and Video.Social.Marketing was established in early 2009 to support effective, social media implementation.

Meredith’s specialities include developing strategic, measurable outcomes around social media and tying those KPI’s and internal benchmarks into an enterprise’s marketing activity.  She also works to help develop sustainability and capability within business that includes using sites such as Facebook Business Pages; LinkedIn; Twitter; YouTube and blogging.

Part of all social strategies includes integration and back linking of social media to assist in optimising search engine optimisation.   Meredith works comfortably across businesses to ensure that IT, HR and Marketing are included and play their necessary roles in implementing social media into an organisation.

Meredith applies her business acumen and “no nonsense” approach to her work, helping businesses of all sizes to leverage social media and optimise their avenues to market with simple, manageable and sustainable marketing advice and solutions.

She leads small and growing team including administration staff, a graphic designer and web programmer.

For the ten years prior to starting Video.Social.Marketing , Meredith was actively involved in the corporate world, and in adult education and eLearning, most recently as a nominated TAFE NSW leader mentoring and training teachers in a range of educational institutions to better implement technology in their classes. It was through eLearning, that Meredith became keenly interested in social media and internet video streaming.

In March 2012, Meredith began working with Peter Switzer and the Commonwealth Bank, for a national tour, to support thousands of business owners to better utilise the opportunities social media offer.   This is largely on the back of the prestigious awards Meredith won in October 2011, “Entrepreneur of the Year” and “Highly Commended” for Starting a New Business, in the prestigious Western Sydney Awards in Business Excellence (WSABEs).

Meredith holds qualifications in Marketing, eLearning, Adult Education, Neuro Linguistic Programming and Management Communications.

Richard Brown

Richard Brown has around two decades of sales experience, and was a very early adopter with online sales and marketing. Now consulting for a variety of companies in the UK, and running his own successful consultancy wispa Limited.
With a Doctorate in Sales & Marketing, coupled with decades of experience, focus has always been on what works, rather than on what seems like good theory - particularly when having to both help companies, and run his own. This has resulted in Richard having to find the best possible ways to exploit social media for the purposes of marketing and customer acquisition.
When marketing is squeezed, social media can often feel like a difficult element to invest in, so maximising the returns from this area have been key to aiding customer companies and his own.
Richard has multiple Twitter accounts, but the main ID is @wispame
